SweetLuxe Studios, a creative brand under SweetLuxe Prime Group Limited, is seeking a talented, creative and experienced Professional Photographer to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for capturing high-quality photographs across a variety of assignments, including weddings, corporate events, portraits, commercial projects, product photography and special occasions. We are looking for a professional with a strong creative eye, excellent technical knowledge, attention to detail and the ability to translate clients’ ideas into compelling visual stories.
The ideal candidate must be proficient in operating professional camera equipment, working with different lighting conditions, directing subjects and composing images that meet the highest standards of quality. The ability to independently edit, retouch and deliver finished photographs is essential. Candidates should be confident using professional editing software to achieve accurate colours, balanced exposure, natural skin tones and a consistent visual style.
The successful applicant must demonstrate professionalism, reliability, good communication skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure while meeting project deadlines. They should also be comfortable working independently and collaborating with videographers, creative professionals and other team members.
Candidates must submit an up-to-date CV and a portfolio showcasing their photography work. Shortlisted applicants may be invited to complete a practical photography and photo-editing assessment as part of the recruitment process.
• Plan and execute professional photography assignments, including weddings, corporate events, portraits, commercial projects, product photography and special occasions.
• Operate professional cameras, lenses, lighting equipment and other photography accessories to produce high-quality images.
• Consult with clients to understand their requirements, discuss creative concepts and deliver photographs that meet their expectations and the standards of SweetLuxe Studios.
• Apply strong technical knowledge of camera settings, exposure, composition, white balance, focus and lighting techniques to achieve outstanding results in different shooting environments.
• Independently select, edit, retouch and enhance photographs using professional editing software such as Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Photoshop or equivalent tools.
• Ensure all photographs meet professional quality standards, with accurate colours, balanced exposure, natural skin tones and a consistent visual style.
• Organise, label, back up and securely store photographs and project files to maintain an efficient workflow and prevent data loss.
• Manage multiple photography assignments effectively, meet agreed deadlines and deliver completed images within the required turnaround time.
• Collaborate with videographers, editors, clients and other creative team members to ensure smooth coordination and successful project delivery.
• Maintain and properly care for cameras, lenses, lighting equipment, memory cards and other photography accessories.
• Maintain professional conduct when interacting with clients, directing subjects and representing SweetLuxe Studios at events and on location.
• Develop and maintain a strong photography portfolio that demonstrates creativity, technical expertise, versatility and professional experience.
• Keep up to date with photography techniques, equipment, editing software and emerging trends in the creative industry.
• Be available to work on weekends, public holidays and outside normal working hours when required for weddings, events and other scheduled assignments.
• Proven experience as a professional photographer, with a strong portfolio demonstrating technical ability, creativity and versatility across different photography assignments.
• Excellent knowledge of professional cameras, lenses, lighting equipment and photography accessories.
• Strong understanding of camera settings, exposure, composition, focus, white balance, lighting techniques and colour management.
• Proficiency in photo editing and retouching using Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Photoshop or equivalent professional editing software.
• Ability to independently manage the complete photography workflow, from planning and shooting to editing, file organisation and final delivery.
• Demonstrated ability to photograph weddings, corporate events, portraits, commercial projects, products and other special occasions.
• Strong creative vision, attention to detail and the ability to capture meaningful moments and produce visually compelling images.
• Ability to work confidently in different environments and lighting conditions, including indoor venues, outdoor locations and fast-paced events.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple assignments and meet strict deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to understand client requirements, direct subjects professionally and work effectively with a creative team.
• High level of professionalism, reliability, integrity and commitment to delivering quality work.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, solve problems on location and adapt to changing photography requirements.
• Willingness to travel for assignments and work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, when required.
• Good knowledge of image file management, data backup procedures and the secure handling of clients’ photographs and project files.
• An up-to-date CV and a portfolio of previous photography work are required as part of the application.
• Shortlisted candidates may be required to complete a practical photography and photo-editing assessment to demonstrate their technical competence and creative ability.
